The Montblanc 1858 line reinterprets these legendary timepieces, evokes the spirit of exploratory mountaineering and embodies the current trend of a return to nature. The Montblanc 1858 Automatic Chronograph sports a bluish aesthetic reminiscent of glaciers and a bi-directional steel bezel, enhanced with bright blue ceramic accents and engraved luminescent four cardinal points. The 42 mm steel case features polished and satin-brushed finishes and is adorned with an engraving of the emblematic Mont Blanc, a compass and two crossed ice peaks, a nod to the spirit of mountaineering exploration. This offers several advantages for explorers, as it eliminates fogging and prevents oxidation, leading to much longer life and better accuracy.
