Actors and actresses of the series 3Caminos<\/em>, which is filmed for Amazon Prime Video, came to the Hotel O Sem\u00e1foro in Fisterra for the presentation of a new piece of the Pilgrim Bracelet, the creation with which the company from Santiago de Compostela wants to honor and at the same time promote the Camino de Santiago.
\nAmong the artists present at the presentation were \u00c1lex Gonz\u00e1lez, Ver\u00f3nica Echegui, Andrea Bosca, Alberto Jo Lee and Anna Katharina Schimrigk, who are filming the 3Caminos<\/em>series in the area. Jael Joyer\u00eda usually collaborates with the producer of the series, Ficci\u00f3n Producciones, and the actors did not want to miss the presentation and the spectacular sunset that adorned it. The celebration cocktail was also attended by the mayor of Fisterra, Jos\u00e9 Marcote; the president of the Tourism Cluster of Galicia, Ces\u00e1reo Gonz\u00e1lez Pardal; the president of the association of entrepreneurs of the Camino Solpor, Jes\u00fas Picallo; the CEO of Ficci\u00f3n Producciones, Julio Casal; and the director of Jael Joyer\u00eda, Chema Fern\u00e1ndez.
\nThe new Landmark of the Pilgrim Bracelet is the Lighthouse, based on the one in Fisterra and designed by Jael Jewelry as a tribute to the last stage that many of the pilgrims who travel the Jacobean Route make. The Lighthouse symbolizes the light and certifies the arrival at the End of the World through the Camino de Fisterra and Mux\u00eda, and adds to a collection that is the result of the commitment of Jael Jewelry with Galicia and culture on the Camino. The Landmarks that compose it symbolize the history and tradition of St. James, and have become a second credential for pilgrims, who can adapt this jewel to their taste or their own experience on the Route. For Chema Fern\u00e1ndez, director of Jael, the Peregrina is “a grain of sand that we want to put to place Galicia where it should be. Galicia is in fashion and together we can place it at the top”. “We have had very bad months, but by collaborating we will come out of this crisis stronger,” he said.
\nFor his part, Jes\u00fas Picallo congratulated Jael for the initiative of “creating a bracelet that now reaches this place at the end of the world”. The president of the Cluster expressed a similar opinion; for Ces\u00e1reo Gonz\u00e1lez Pardal, the new landmark of the Lighthouse is “a tribute to this place, which is really the beginning of the world”. The CEO of Ficci\u00f3n Producciones, Julio Casal, highlighted the “collaboration that Jael has always had with the shootings of this production company”. “The actors and actresses of 3Caminos<\/em>,” he said, “have earned this bracelet after walking the Camino three times during filming.” The series will be released next year in 190 countries.
\nMeanwhile, the mayor of Fisterra greeted the attendees, calling them to “nourish themselves with all the geographical and spiritual significance of this site, which has always been here and from which we must learn”. For Marcote, “initiatives such as the Pilgrim Bracelet help to bring normality back into our lives”.
\nCreated by Jael in 2010, the Pilgrim Bracelet is actually two different bracelets. One of its versions is composed of nine different symbols that lovers of the Camino de Santiago can compose freely: the boot, the pumpkin, the Apostle, the arrow, the mogote (a milestone indicating the distance to Compostela), the cross, the goose, the Templar cross and the scallop.
\nThe second version is the Bracelet of the Milestones of the French Way, which now includes the Lighthouse. It is made up of nine symbols that can be purchased separately and only in the towns along the French Way route in Galicia. The eighth piece is given in Santiago, at Joyer\u00eda Jael, to those who can prove that they have completed the Camino by presenting the Compostela or one of the personalized stamps that will be placed in the authorized points of sale. Among the motifs represented are the Chalice, representative symbol of the beginning of the French Way in Galicia, in O Cebreiro; the Piselda or sandal, in Triacastela; the Almena, in Sarria; the Staircase in Portomar\u00edn; the Ara de Vilar de Donas, which will be sold in Palas de Rei; the Bridge, in Melide; the Seno, in Arz\u00faa; the Fuste, in Santiago de Compostela; and now the Lighthouse, in Fisterra.<\/p>\n
