While most GMT watches indicate the second time zone with an additional hand, the Montblanc 1858 GMT features its handless GMT indication which is very intuitive and offers high legibility. The Montblanc 1858 GMT indicates the second time zone with a red square moving around the dial. This red square sits next to a fixed blue anodized aluminum bezel with a 24-hour clock. This system also indicates the half hours. Other functions include the date and the central seconds hand. The watch is housed in a 42 mm steel case and comes with a blue dial with “soleil” finish and an interchangeable beveled steel bracelet with a precise fit.
