As the soul of the watch, this “open heart” movement reveals its completely reinvented design, with a double coupling system and column wheel on the dial side, as well as a 72-hour power reserve. Its construction consists of 354 components that have been simplified to the maximum to improve its reliability and robustness.
\nIn 1980, Hublot revolutionized watchmaking by combining an 18-carat gold case with a rubber strap for the first time, resulting in the creation of a new type of watch. This bold combination was the first expression of the “Art of Fusion”, which would become the hallmark of the manufacture.
