BREITLING CHRONOMAT B31 AUTOMATIC WATCH 40 MM

The Chronomat holds a pivotal place in the brand’s modern history. Introduced to mark Breitling’s centenary in 1984, at a time dominated by quartz movements, it represented a bold return to mechanical watches. It was born from a collaboration with the legendary Italian aerobatic team, the Frecce Tricolori. When the team requested an analog watch that could withstand the rigors of the cockpit yet was elegant enough for formal events, Breitling developed the “Chronograph Frecce Tricolori.” This model laid the foundation for the Chronomat, which would arrive a year later. The Chronomat B31 40 features the Breitling Manufacture caliber B31, certified by the COSC, which was introduced in 2025.
